About the Event
Kimchi workshop starts at 3pm. In this workshop, we will explore the intricate details of fermentation and traditional Korean spices and methodology, as well as the health benefits and methods of storing and eating kimchi. Participants will be able to create their very own kimchi jar to take home.
Korean barbecue dinner starts at 5pm. Vegetarian options are also available. Full tabletop setting includes:
kalbi (marinated short rib beef)
samgyupsal (thickly-sliced pork belly)
Sunhee's house kimchi
assortment of namul, or prepared Korean leaves and greens
fresh lettuce wraps with homemade ssamjang, a traditional savory and spicy barbecue dipping sauce
